Two concepts that the EFD-TIP team follow are:

• What gets measured gets done.
  
• What gets identified gets dealt with.

The field tests and case studies program implements these concepts. Specifically, the following items are being addressed:

• Baseline Monitoring

• Air Quality, Noise and Lighting

• Water and Waste Stream

• Pits/Impoundments
