Workforce Training and Development

Involves creating and implementing a Workforce Program to develop workforce skilled in environmental mitigation of exploration and production impacts in coastal regions. The Workforce Program will include both academia and industry. HARC will work with RPSEA to develop and implement fellowship and internship programs for Texas universities with capabilities and interests in the relevant program areas, including working with Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Health Science Institutes. HARC and RPSEA will also work with state producer associations to help meet industry workforce needs in environmental mitigation disciplines.
